Emirates College for Advanced Education launches Educational Leadership Capacity Building Program

Abu Dhabi-UAE: The Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) has established an innovative program to support educational leadership capacity building in the UAE.

Designed and delivered by leading experts in educational leadership from ECAE, the “Building Capacity in Educational Leadership in the UAE” program aims to develop a cadre of educational leaders who can promote capacity building and develop educational systems. effective teaching and assessment.

The program will help education leaders, including cluster managers, principals and deputy principals, to expand knowledge, skills, dispositions and understanding of a range of effective instructional leadership approaches in the practice to promote school improvement.

Dr May Laith Al Taee, Vice-Chancellor of the Emirates College for Advanced Education, said: “Our latest educational leadership program aims to develop competent school leaders who are ready to take on the ever-increasing responsibilities of school environments. rapidly evolving in the United Arab Emirates. The program will be delivered to 260 candidates in a total of 35 sessions spread over 105 hours. It consists of 12 modules covering the principles and practices of educational leadership, leading the development of a school vision: the moral purpose of the school, leading effective teaching and learning in schools, leading effective assessment in schools , leading effective curriculum development in schools, and leading and promoting a positive school climate and behavior.

Other modules include Leading the Development of the School as a Learning Community: Building Internal and External Relationships, Leading the School as an Inclusive Ethical Community, Managing School Operational Systems, Managing Resources Financial and Human Resources in Schools, Interacting with the External Environment and Leading the Whole School Improvement: Smart School Improvement.
