EON Reality partners with an educational institution in Morocco to build an XR center of excellence for the agricultural sector

February 26, 2021 – EON Reality, an augmented and virtual reality (AR / VR, collectively XR) based knowledge and skills transfer provider for industry and education, recently announced a new partnership with the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute ( IAV Hassan II) in Morocco. EON Reality said the collaboration will focus on building a world-class XR center to help integrate XR training as well as research and development into the agricultural sector.

The Center, which seeks to expand the XR presence in Morocco which began with the IDC Morocco project, will shift training paradigms towards an AI-powered XR experience that will promote meaningful learning, training and research for teachers, students and professionals across Morocco and beyond, according to EON Reality.

EON Reality noted that the XR Center supports the company’s commitment to create alliances and collaborations with local academic institutions in Morocco, as one of the main missions of IDC Maroc is to expand the use of virtual and augmented reality within the country and to integrate innovative technology into its academic products. In addition, EON Reality states that the new partnership will help create long-term employment opportunities for young Moroccans and entrepreneurship opportunities within the digital economy while improving the skills of potential employees for careers of. the future.

The partnership will contribute to the development of the XR Center, as well as the integration of new technologies adapted to the needs of agricultural training, research and development based on XR solutions. The current project of the five-year agreement is to set up a center of excellence for the training of 5,000 students and 750 workers or trainees.
